Everett “Gene” McCarty, 86, of Magnetic Springs, died peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1930, in Middletown, to the late Jonas and Nellie (Shockey) McCarty, the youngest of 14 children.
