Home run derby to benefit Special Olympics

A home run derby to benefit Marysville Special Olympics is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the County Home Road ball fields.
There is a fee for entry and competitors must bring their own balls, bats and pitcher.
The winner of the event will receive a Yeti cooler.
