Law enforcement, fire and EMS crews look over a vacant apartment building Monday night in Milford Center where investigators suspect arson led to a fire. The Union County Sheriff’s Office began receiving calls that a building was on fire on South Mill Street at around 5:08 p.m. The Union Township Fire Department was assisted by the Allen Township Fire Department, the Marysville Fire Department, Northeast Champaign County Fire Department, Mechanicsburg Fire Department and EMS, and the Urbana Fire Department. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation. (Photos submitted)
