City officials held the unveiling of a new mural at Lewis Park Thursday morning. The mural shows members of the 1958 Marysville High School football team including: Jerry Brown (40), Dick Wilson (31), Jerry DeGood (50), Jerry “Ox” Yoakum (70), Jim Walker (64), Jim Burson (11), Herb Ross (71), Bill Helmick (16) and Dave Behrens (35). The team in the photo finished the season with a 4-4-1 record. The City of Marysville unveiled a new public display that honors the history of Lewis Park.

Officials held a ceremony Thursday morning introducing the new image of the Marysville High School football team, circa 1958, on the wall of the park’s northern building.
