The recent inclement weather kept No. 1-seeded Jonathan Alder from opening the Division IV baseball tournament on its home field on Wednesday.

That really didn’t bother the Pioneers as they made the short trip to Dublin Coffman to take on No. 13 Columbus Cristo Rey.
