Cruise-In planned

Vehicles from previous cruise-ins at Pharisburg United Methodist Church, at the intersection of routes 4 and 347, are shown above and at left. The church will again celebrate classic American automobiles with a Cruise-In Friday, Aug. 14, featuring vintage, antique and classic vehicles from the 1990s and older. Registration begins at 4 p.m., followed by a 1950s-themed meal at 5:30 p.m., vintage music by Chuck Magill at 6:30 p.m. and awards at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission charge, but a free will offering will be in place. The event is part of the church’s America 250 celebration.
