Panther spikers fall
Fairbanks’ volleyball team slipped to 2-2 on the season with a 3-1 setback at the hands of London.
Scores for the match were 25-23, 14-25, 23-25, 18-25.
Liviann Maine tallied 11 kills to lead FHS.
The Lady Panthers finished with 39 total kills.
Sydney Nicol finished with nine kills, followed by Laynie Burgel-five, Rylynn Rausch-four, Lailynn Burns-three and one each from Lexie Grant and Autumn Wiedmann.
Grant fed Fairbanks’ hitters for 32 of the team’s 39 assists.
Other assists came from Rausch-three, Stephenie Headings-two and one each from Maine and Wiedmann.
Rausch led the Lady Panthers with 16 digs, while Headings finished with 11.
Burgel and Grant both tallied nine digs.
Wiedmann had five digs, while Mallereigh Rankin and Maine both finished with four.
