Emergency personnel still work to clear the scene of an injury crash on Route 4 and Route 161 in Irwin after a semi-truck hit a utility pole and overturned while hauling lithium batteries from Honda on Thursday. The bridge into Magnetic Springs from Route 37 is now open to traffic after construction ended last week. The 41-year-old bridge was closed to traffic on July 16, 2024 following an inspection by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), which revealed deteriorated components of the structure.
